Public Access AED Program

The Community Services Department, in partnership with the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station is dedicated to providing safe and healthy recreation and park spaces for every member of the community and is proud to provide public access to Automatic External Defibrillators, or AEDs, in City parks.

AED’s are located inside secured all-weather enclosures that can be opened with a code provided by 911 emergency services dispatchers. In the event of a sudden cardiac arrest, bystanders should start CPR immediately while an AED is being retrieved. AED’s can be found at the following locations:

  • Malibu Bluffs Park, Michael Landon Center– 24250 Pacific Coast Highway. Malibu, CA 90265
    • Mounted on the community center building near the main entrance.
